EIZ Seminar "Long-term real estate market trends in the European Union" held
Another interesting EIZ Seminar event was held on April 9, 2025, at The Institute of Economics, Zagreb, when international macroeconomist Dubravko Mihaljek, PhD,presented the paper Long-term real estate market trends in the European Union.
His paper deals with rising average residential real estate prices in the European Union, which have increased by 85% in nominal and 18% in real terms. While significant, this increase is not surprising given the growth of household income and assets, demographic trends, financing terms, and the emphasis on homeownership in many settings.
EIZ Seminar is a platform intended for in-house researchers, external associates, and international guest lecturers wishing to present their latest research findings and discuss current scientific topics.
