About the Library

The Library at the Institute of Economics, Zagreb is a specialized semi-open library, accessible to expert public, teachers, associates in scientific institutions and business experts. The main goal of the Library is to provide support to the Institute’s researchers in their research activities, as well as in achieving their master’s and doctoral degrees.

The Library cooperates and exchanges publications with other similar institutions, 42 international and 22 Croatian libraries/institutions. Some of the Library’s most important partners include the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies, London School of Economics and Political Science, University of Cambridge, Department of Applied Economics...

Once a week the Library distributes information on new literature to associates of the Institute and interested members of the general public through e-mail or mail. The Library also organizes weekly exhibitions of new literature.

The work of the Library is steered by the Library Board, consisting of four EIZ researchers and the Head of the Library, Branka Domić.
