Student internships
The Institute of Economics, Zagreb hereby informs interested higher year students, as well as final year students who have finished attending all lectures but have not yet graduated (Cro. apsolventi), who are attending economics-related and other faculties and wish to become acquainted with working at a scientific institute, that we are offering student internships at our Institute.
The internship is offered on an exclusively voluntary basis, in the duration of several weeks, and can involve various tasks and activities in areas the Institute engages in, according to arrangement, as well as the requirements of Institute employees. Upon completion of the internship, the student will be issued a certificate confirming the internship was undertaken. We invite interested students to submit their CV and motivational letter via e-mail to Magdalena Pongrac at mpongrac@eizg.hr, so that the Institute's employees can directly contact the selected student for further arrangements when the need arises.
Students attending the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb are accepted for internships in accordance with the Professional Placement Internship Cooperation Agreement concluded between the Institute and the Faculty (FEB), which has been in force as of August 21, 2018. FEB students are advised to contact the relevant office at FEB regarding professional placement internships awarding ECTS points.
FEB will submit a professional placement internship referral to the Institute containing the student's CV and motivational letter, clearly reflecting their interests, and will submit professional placement internship referrals for those 4th and 5th year students majoring in economics who have the capability, interest, and sufficient knowledge that make them eligible candidates for scientific research work.
