Invitation to "Evaluation of EU RTD Programs as a Part of Evaluation Culture Development"

We are pleased to invite you to the "Evaluation of EU RTD Programs as a Part of Evaluation Culture Development" event, which will be held on Thursday, 21 September 2023 at the Institute of Economics, Zagreb (Conference Hall, 1st floor), Trg J. F. Kennedyja 7, Zagreb, at 10:00 a.m.

The Institute of Economics, Zagreb is organizing an event to introduce Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) practices for EU cohesion programs and certain S3 programs to expert audiences, researchers, and policymakers. On the one hand, a daily need for evaluation mechanisms in public policy practices developed in Croatia recently but, on the other hand, it seems like the overall evaluation practice is developing slowly. Special focus will be placed on seeking mechanisms to promote the evaluation culture in Croatia and on investigating which roles individual stakeholder groups (public administration, academics, consultants, and civil sector) play in the process.

As the keynote speaker is Jan-Philipp Kramer (PROGNOS AG, Brussels), the event will be held in English.
