I. Job advertisement for the scientific job position of senior research fellow in permanent position, in the scientific area of social sciences – field of economics, permanent employment contract, 1 employee, was published on January 29, 2020 in the Official Gazette No. 11/2020, daily press – Večernji list, the official Internet portal of the European Research Area, and the website of the Institute of Economics, Zagreb (further in text: Institute).
 
The Institute hereby announces that the candidate Jelena Budak, PhD, has been selected for the advertised scientific job position of a senior research fellow in permanent position.  
 
II. Job advertisement for the scientific job position of a senior research associate, in the scientific area of social sciences – field of economics, permanent employment contract, 2 employees, was published on January 29, 2020 in the Official Gazette No. 11/2020, daily press – Večernji list, the official Internet portal of the European Research Area, and the website of the Institute.
 
The Institute hereby announces that the candidate Marina Tkalec, PhD, has been selected for the advertised scientific job position of a senior research associate.  
 
III. Based on the Decision of the Scientific Board of April 2, 2020, the Institute has annulled the job advertisement, which was published on January 29, 2020 in the Official Gazette No. 11/2020, daily press – Večernji list, the official Internet portal of the European Research Area, and the website of the Institute, in the part regarding the scientific job position of a senior research associate, in the scientific area of social sciences – field of economics, permanent employment contract, requirements: applicants must meet the requirements for appointment into the scientific job position of senior research associate as prescribed by the Scientific Activity and Higher Education Act (the Act) and the Institute’s Ordinance on Additional Criteria for Appointment to Research Positions (the Ordinance), advantages: advantage will be given to applicants who have published papers and participated in scientific and development research in the field of: – labor economics, JEL classification J01 (1 employee).
