Development of the Destination Management Plan

Summary: 
The aim of the project is the development of the Destination Management Plan of Požega-Slavonia County (hereinafter: the Plan). A plan is a document that aims at sustainable and coordinated management of a destination. The legal basis for the development and adoption of the Plan arises from the Tourism Act (Official Gazette 156/23), and is prepared for a period of four years. The primary purpose of the Plan is to ensure the development of the destination in the direction of sustainability in accordance with strategic planning acts, spatial plans, cultural property management plan and other applicable plans and regulations. The plan will cover various aspects of destination management, in order to ensure long-term development that benefits all stakeholders - visitors, the local community and the economy.
