Summary
This project will allow local and regional self-government units to carry out activities within their scope more efficiently, which will ultimately result in an increase in the quality of public services provided to citizens in units. The implementation of the project will establish a central database on the capacities of local and regional self-government units, which will enable the collection, consolidation and processing of data on local and regional self-government units and data on the work performed in units. On the basis of this data, an analysis of selected indicators for the assessment of the capacity of local and regional self-government units, primarily administrative and financial, but also all others necessary for the quality and efficient provision of services from their legally established scope will be carried out. Based on the estimated or established capacities of local and regional self-government units, a catalogue of tasks performed by units will be developed and categories of units will be defined with respect to the tasks they perform.
