Summary:
The project "Developing materials and facilitating the workshop on database setup and industrial policy monitoring in Croatia" builds directly upon the recently developed analytical baseline for the National Plan for the Development of the Industrial Sector of the Republic of Croatia for 2027-2034. While the aforementioned analytical baseline encompassed an analysis of manufacturing trends in Croatia and the EU27, drawing on Eurostat data and FINA microdata, this project shifts the focus to the transfer of knowledge, technical competencies, and information infrastructure to the Ministry of Economy. Consequently, the existing analytical framework has been further developed into an operational, dynamic system. As the backbone of the project, a unified database at the enterprise and sectoral levels was established to overcome the prior fragmentation of information. Through the delivered training and the handover of computer codes—designed for automated data retrieval, standardisation, and visualisation—the competent institution has been equipped with the tools to independently monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
