Summary:
The existence of gender gaps is one of the most obvious facts characterizing contemporary societies. The project analyzed gender differences in Croatia. The analysis was focused on gender gaps in a number of domains: human capital (health and education), material living standard (risk of poverty, social exclusion, and multidimensional deprivation), labor market (participation, employment, and unemployment), entrepreneurship, ownership of productive resources, decision making in politics and business, and gender-based violence. The analysis also included the comparison of Croatia to other EU countries.
