Projections of the future needs of the labour market (PROLAB)

Brief outline:
Projections of the future needs of the labor market include projections of employment in Croatia per year and per labor category as well as projections for various professions and sectors of economy, for the period from 2015 to 2020. This was the first ever conducted research of this kind using a model approach and based on a rich set of quantitative data. 

The study represented a starting point for future research into the needs of the labor market, which should also use quantitative and qualitative data of various sources. The results of the study did not show which trends to follow, but warned which trends would ensue if policy-makers do not make use of the findings and make evidence-based decisions.
