Summary: 
The aim of the project is to analyse the state of the forestry and wood-processing industry in the Republic of Croatia, with a focus on the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises through clusterisation, internationalisation, and innovation. The project examines industry trends and the case of the Wood Clusters in the Republic of Croatia and Slovenia as a driver of success in the wood-processing industry. It also analyses lessons learned and best practices from wood-processing clusters in Croatia and Slovenia. The analysis is based on available data from FINA, Eurostat, professional studies, and scientific papers. The research findings are presented at a conference held within the framework of the FBI4EU project (Interreg Europe).
